Nikita is a Registered Psychologist and holds a Master of Counselling Psychology. She is currently accepting adolescent and adult clients. Therapeutically, she takes an eclectic approach using skills and techniques from a wide-range of interventions including but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, and mindfulness. When starting with new clients, a flexible treatment plan is designed to focus around the specific goals and needs of each client. Nikita places emphasis on the foundations of physical and mental wellness to broadly explore the status of each client's needs. Nikita works with diverse populations and sees a wide range of mental health challenges including: anxiety, ADHD, trauma, autism, depression, grief, disordered eating, behavioural issues, life transitions, social challenges, parental supports, stress and burnout, developmental disorders, interpersonal relationships, self esteem, among others. As a psychologist, Nikita prioritizes establishing an inclusive space that feels safe and inviting for everyone.
The fee for a 50 minute session with Nikita is $210, as is recommended by the Psychology Association of Newfoundland and Labrador. To book a first appointment, contact admin@calmplace.ca
