Stephanie believes that the success of therapy is built upon establishment of a safe and meaningful relationship between client and therapist. Her approach to therapy is collaborative and she works alongside clients to develop a treatment plan that feels aligned to her clients individual characteristics and challenges.
Stephanie believes in supporting individuals to identify and acknowledge their own patterns of behaviour; examining where they may have developed and whether or not they are serving a client well in the present context. As we better understand how our collective life experiences create the lens in which we view the world, we can begin to foster a perspective that supports our future goals for wellness. Stephanie seeks to help a client harness their own innate strength and resiliency and guides clients toward creating the life they want to live.
In her role at the clinic Stephanie works with adults navigating such challenges as Trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety, life transitions, stress management, parenting (especially as it relates to challenging behaviour and/or anxiety in children), as well as other concerns. Stephanie is available to complete adult ADHD assessments and has experience working with adults with ADHD to understand and utilize their unique strengths as well as promote neuro-affirming strategies to address their needs.
Stephanie’s ultimate priority is establishing meaningful rapport with clients and borrows from multiple approaches to provide clients with a supportive and safe environment to work through difficulties. She believes even during the difficult periods in our life there is room to bolster hope for the future and gratitude for joyful moments.
The rate for a 50 minute session with Stephanie is $210. A receipt is provided for insurance/tax purposes. To book an appointment, please email stephaniekeezer@calmplace.ca.
