Intensive Trauma Treatment Program

Launching in Spring 2027, The Calm Place will introduce a new approach to intensive trauma care in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Our Intensive Trauma Treatment Program (ITTP) is designed for individuals who are ready for a more focused, structured approach to trauma therapy — with greater access to therapeutic support over a concentrated period of time. The program will bring together multiple layers of support within one structured experience, with a combination of individual therapy, group support, psychoeducation, and other therapeutic approaches.

Rather than fitting trauma work into the pace of traditional weekly appointments, this program will create more space for weekly, focused therapeutic work, connection, skill-building, and support. The goal is not simply to do more therapy. It is to create the time, structure, and support needed to engage more deeply in the work of healing.
