Seeing our vision of The Calm Place come to life has really been a profound experience, sparking so much gratitude for us. As therapists ourselves, we recognized a deep need in the community for a space where individuals could come for therapy and related services in an environment that immediately feels calming and safe. From the moment a client enters our waiting room to the time they leave, every element of the experience has been thoughtfully intended to be trauma-informed and mindful.
We have created a calm atmosphere through careful attention to lighting, sound, and overall sensory experience—more akin to a spa than a traditional clinic. We also seek alignment in our team, bringing on clinicians who deeply understand trauma and are skilled in supporting the nervous system in strategic, compassionate ways.
We understand that therapy requires vulnerability—and vulnerability begins with feeling safe. At the core of our vision is creating a space where the nervous system can soften, allowing clients to settle and connect with a therapist who feels safe, supportive, and attuned.
We’re incredibly proud of both the space and the community of professionals we’ve cultivated.
