The Calm Place offers reduced-rate therapy sessions with highly skilled and educated clinicians who are nearing the completion of their master's or doctoral degrees. These therapists bring up-to-date, evidence-based knowledge and expertise in various therapy treatments and modalities. Each therapist's bio provides detailed information on their primary areas of work and specialization. They are supervised and have access to consultations with more experienced clinicians as needed.
One of the significant benefits of working with these therapists, besides their modern and thorough understanding of therapy treatments and mental health, is the affordability. Sessions are available at a reduced rate of just $50, making therapy more accessible. Clients may have the opportunity to continue working with the intern therapist after they complete their education, or they can be transitioned to another therapist. Ideally, therapy goals will be set to align with the duration of the intern's educational program.
