Hi! I'm Hope, Graduate Counselling Intern. I endeavour to create a warm environment to validate your experience. I enjoy working with individuals on the stuff that can feel heavy: anxiety, stress, confidence dips, friendship or relationship challenges, life transitions, and that overwhelming juggle of school, sports, and social life.
I've supported folks in complex mental health environments — so whether you're navigating something new or something that's been building for a while, I get it. My therapy approach is rooted in meeting the person I’m with where they are, using techniques from modalities such as CBT, DBT, and above all being client-centred.
I also have a special interest in working with neurodiversity, perfectionism, high achievers, and young athletes to help them find a healthy harmony between competition, schoolwork, and a rewarding personal life.
My background in recreation therapy means I bring a creative approach to our sessions. This process is fully collaborative, tailored to your strengths, and designed to move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
When I'm not in session: You'll find me watching hockey, hunting for the best local coffee, or hanging out with friends and family.

Hi! I work with people who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or like they’ve been quietly carrying a lot on their own for a long time. Many are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or the emotional impact of chronic illness and body changes.
My approach is grounded in person-centered therapy and focuses on presence, deep listening, and genuine curiosity. I aim to create a space where people feel understood and supported as they explore their experiences and begin making sense of what they’re carrying.
As someone who is neurodivergent, I appreciate the many ways people think, process, and move through the world, including the impact that masking can have on our sense of self and wellbeing.
If you’re looking for a warm and thoughtful space where you can show up just as you are, without needing to have the right words or everything figured out, we may be a good fit.
Outside of counselling, I’m a mom of two teenagers, a bit of a bookworm, and happiest when I’m curled up with a cozy blanket and our dog, Sonny.
