The Calm Place offers affordable counselling sessions at $65 with highly trained intern therapists who are completing their master’s or doctoral programs. These clinicians bring fresh, evidence-based approaches and are closely supervised by licensed psychologists or master’s-level supervisors—gaining direct insights and guidance to support your care.
Interns specialize in a variety of modalities, with detailed bios available to help you find the right fit. Clients often benefit from the opportunity to work with the same therapist through the duration of their training and, in some cases, beyond.
This is a meaningful way to access high-quality, affordable therapy while supporting the next generation of compassionate mental health professionals.
In some cases, The Calm Place is able to offer no-cost therapy for individuals experiencing significant financial hardship.
