Your healing journey is personal—and so is our approach.
At The Calm Place, we prioritize your mental health by offering a diverse range of evidence-based therapies, each tailored to meet your unique needs.

Our diverse team of 20+ psychologists and psychotherapists brings extensive training across trauma, neurodivergence, nervous-system-informed therapies, and evidence-based approaches. Explore our bios to find the clinician who aligns with what you’re looking for.

To increase accessibility to counselling, The Calm Place offers reduced-rate therapy sessions with highly skilled and educated clinicians who are nearing the completion of their master's or doctoral degrees. These therapists bring up-to-date, evidence-based knowledge and expertise in various therapy treatments and modalities. Sessions are available at a reduced rate of $65 or in some cases pro bono, making therapy more accessible. Clients may have the opportunity to continue working with the intern therapist after they complete their education, or they can be transitioned to another therapist.
Our psychotherapy and psychology fees are set in accordance with current recommendations from provincial licensing and regulatory boards, ensuring they reflect professional standards and best practices. We are able to offer direct billing with most major insurance providers, which can help reduce out-of-pocket costs for clients, and we are also connected with several Employee Assistance Program (EAP) companies to support access to care through workplace benefits.
