Bailey is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (R.H.N.) who obtained her designation at The Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. Through her studies she was able to understand various concepts of health and wellness, learn about a holistic approach to health, and understand the importance of the mind/body connection.

Art Therapist

Allanna Ward, MA, Art Therapy

Allanna Ward holds a Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapies (Art Therapy). She believes that meaningful therapeutic work begins within a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental relationship. She works alongside clients to create a supportive and responsive therapeutic

process, where individuals are encouraged to explore their inne experiences, develop insight, and notice patterns.

Allanna’s work is grounded in trauma-informed and relational care, with creativity offered as a therapeutic resource rather than a requirement. Art-making is introduced gently and flexibly, and clients do not need prior art experience or to identify as “creative” to benefit from art therapy. The focus is on process rather than product, with materials used to support reflection, expression, and self-understanding alongside conversation.

In her work, Allanna supports clients in reconnecting with their inner resources and developing awareness of how experiences are held emotionally and somatically. She recognizes that stress, relational patterns, chronic pain, and life transitions often live beyond words, and she works with clients to explore these experiences at a pace that feels respectful and manageable. Allanna brings experience working in both individual and group settings across varied clinical

contexts. She has supported adults navigating a range of concerns, including anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, identity exploration, eco-anxiety, and life transitions. She approaches this work

with attention to how social context, identity, and lived experience shape emotional well-being. She has also worked with older adults and individuals living with chronic pain, cognitive

changes, and complex medical conditions. These experiences have informed her sensitivity to issues of loss, identity shifts, resilience, and the emotional impact of illness, caregiving, and chronic stress.

Allanna is committed to offering a thoughtful and respectful therapeutic space and values working with clients across a wide range of lived experiences. Having returned to Newfoundland, she is deeply invested in serving the St. John’s community and feels honoured to walk alongside clients as they explore healing, agency, and resilience. Allanna is a Professional Member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA) and the

Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She offers individual and group sessions with young adults and adults within a collaborative group practice setting.
