Holistic Nutritionist

Bailey Fitzgerald, Registered Holistic Nutritionist (R.H.N.)

Bailey is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (R.H.N.) who obtained her designation at The Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. Through her studies she was able to understand various concepts of health and wellness, learn about a holistic approach to health, and understand the importance of the mind/body connection.

She believes there is no ‘one size fits all’ diet, workout, supplement, or lifestyle for any individual. Therefore, through an individualistic approach, she works with clients to uncover root issues, restore energy, gain confidence, and provide support as they make changes.

Inspired by food’s profound ability to promote overall wellness, Bailey is dedicated to empowering her clients to gain confidence in their food choices and themselves. Through her personalized approach, she offers guidance and support to help clients make meaningful changes that align with their health goals.

Bailey’s areas of expertise include nutrition for mental health, women’s (hormonal) health, digestive health, and intuitive eating.

Acupuncturist

Haley Manning, TCM

Haley is a Registered Acupuncturist with a passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She offers a holistic, patient-centered approach to health, often including acupuncture, fire cupping and gua sha, to address the root of imbalance and support the body’s natural ability to heal. Her treatments are tailored to each individual, often incorporating TCM nutrition guidance and simple lifestyle shifts to help clients feel their best.

Her primary area of interest is mental health, and she enjoys working with women’s health and treating pain conditions. Haley is also trained in cosmetic acupuncture, providing a natural approach to skin health.

Outside the clinic, Haley finds balance and inspiration in nature. She loves hiking near the ocean, spending time outdoors, and practicing yoga. She deeply values time with loved ones and believes that connection, rest, and joy are essential parts of wellness. She continues to expand her knowledge of TCM and holistic health so she can better serve her community.

Haley values collaboration and ensures patients are active participants in their treatment plans. She is committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where each person feels supported on their healing journey. Born and raised in Newfoundland, she feels grateful to offer her services in her home province. Her treatments are covered by most insurance plans.

She enjoys working with people from all walks of life and is especially passionate about helping people better understand themselves, reconnect with what matters most to them, and move through life with greater clarity and confidence.

Outside of The Calm Place, Adriannah enjoys exploring nature and spending time near the ocean. Art Therapist

Allanna Ward, MA, Art Therapy

Allanna Ward holds a Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapies (Art Therapy). She believes that meaningful therapeutic work begins within a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental relationship. She works alongside clients to create a supportive and responsive therapeutic

process, where individuals are encouraged to explore their inne experiences, develop insight, and notice patterns.

Allanna’s work is grounded in trauma-informed and relational care, with creativity offered as a therapeutic resource rather than a requirement. Art-making is introduced gently and flexibly, and clients do not need prior art experience or to identify as “creative” to benefit from art therapy. The focus is on process rather than product, with materials used to support reflection, expression, and self-understanding alongside conversation.

In her work, Allanna supports clients in reconnecting with their inner resources and developing awareness of how experiences are held emotionally and somatically. She recognizes that stress, relational patterns, chronic pain, and life transitions often live beyond words, and she works with clients to explore these experiences at a pace that feels respectful and manageable. Allanna brings experience working in both individual and group settings across varied clinical

contexts. She has supported adults navigating a range of concerns, including anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, identity exploration, eco-anxiety, and life transitions. She approaches this work

with attention to how social context, identity, and lived experience shape emotional well-being. She has also worked with older adults and individuals living with chronic pain, cognitive

changes, and complex medical conditions. These experiences have informed her sensitivity to issues of loss, identity shifts, resilience, and the emotional impact of illness, caregiving, and chronic stress.

Allanna is committed to offering a thoughtful and respectful therapeutic space and values working with clients across a wide range of lived experiences. Having returned to Newfoundland, she is deeply invested in serving the St. John’s community and feels honoured to walk alongside clients as they explore healing, agency, and resilience. Allanna is a Professional Member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA) and the

Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She offers individual and group sessions with young adults and adults within a collaborative group practice setting.

She can be reached at allannaward@calmplace.ca
